Last year, I went to the farmer's market here in Dubuque, Iowa. I decided to try my hand at growing garlic. Twenty years ago, I tried and failed. This time the stakes were a bit higher. I was going to show my son how to do it. FUN! So we planted our bulbs in the Fall, then winter came and BANG! They started to grow. My little helper worked hard to help me fence the garlic off.
