Little Barn Hearty Pasta Soup in a Jar

To Prepare

Jar of Soup Mix

10 cups of water

4 cups of tomato or tomato vegetable juice

3 cups of cubed chicken (optional)

Bring water and soup mix to a boil in a large pot.  Cover and reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.  Add tomato juice (and cooked chicken if desired) Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 4 quarts, 16 servings.
